Xàbia vs Moraira for a family townhouse, we are stuck between two, from Torino

We are a family from Torino, restaurant people, and this spring we decided to buy on the Costa Blanca, north part, for the school holidays and later maybe for good. We have been three times now and the choice is between two towns and honestly between two houses, so I ask people who live there.

House A is in Xàbia, in the old town. Townhouse, three floors, small patio, 240 thousand, 15 minutes walking to the port. Very Spanish street, the neighbours are old ladies who sit outside in the evening, my wife loves this.

House B is in Moraira, a bit outside the centre, 275 thousand, with a garden and a garage, but you need the car for everything, even the bread.

Both we found on https://alegria-realestate.com/ in April and both we saw in June and again in September. My daughter (14) wants B because of the garden. My wife wants A because of the ladies. Me, I want to know how the two towns are in November, when we would come for the first long stay.

So the question: is Xàbia old town alive in winter, shops open, people on the street? And Moraira, is it a ghost town from October to March or is there life? We decide in October, we go again the 12th.
